  • Degree in Gender studies, Development studies, Social Sciences or any other relevant degree.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Gender and disability work will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge in disability, GBV, Child protection and case management.
  • Through knowledge of development work.
  • Experience in Implementing multi-sectoral humanitarian/emergency approaches;
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely, cost-effective way.

Community Development Worker KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  •  5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language.
  •  At least a Certificate in Community Development or related field.
  •  One-year experience in community development work.
  •  Ability to work with minimal supervision, willing to learn and be led by Supervisors
  •  Good Interpersonal skills.
  •  Experience in working with children
  •  Community mobilization skills
  •  Ability to ride a motorcycle.
  •  Should originate from ward 11 and 12.
