REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Advanced university degree in telecommunications engineering, information and communication technologies, social sciences, public administration/business administration, or related field, with specialization in telecommunications and information systems OR training received in a higher education establishment of established reputation, attested by a diploma of a level equivalent to a higher university diploma in one of the aforementioned fields. For internal candidates, an undergraduate degree in one of the above fields, combined with fifteen years of relevant professional experience, may replace the higher degree for promotion or rotation purposes. Experience: At least ten years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in the above-mentioned areas, preferably acquired in an administration/organization in the telecommunications/ICT field, in an international or regional organization or in a recognized entity in the private sector, of which at least least five years at the international level. A doctorate in a related field may be considered equivalent to three years of professional experience. Proven experience in integrating the principle of gender equality and managing a team whose members come from different cultures is an asset. |
